- Q6:
- Matthew 19:1 And it came to pass, [that] when Jesus had finished these
- sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea
- beyond Jordan;
-
- Matthew 19:2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
-
- Matthew 19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying
- unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
-
- Matthew 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he
- which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female,
-
- Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother,
- and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
-
- Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What
- therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
-
- Matthew 19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a
- writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
-
- Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your
- hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was
- not so.
-
- Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except
- [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and
- whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
-
- Matthew 19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so
- with [his] wife, it is not good to marry.
-
- Matthew 19:11 But he said unto them, All [men] cannot receive this saying,
- save [they] to whom it is given.
-
- Matthew 19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from [their]
- mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men:
- and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom
- of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive [it], let him receive [it].
-
- Matthew 19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he
- should put [his] hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
-
- Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not,
- to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
-
- Matthew 19:15 And he laid [his] hands on them, and departed thence.
-
- Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what
- good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
-
- Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is]
- none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep
- the commandments.
-
- Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no
- murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt
- not bear false witness,
-
- Matthew 19:19 Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy
- neighbour as thyself.
-
- Matthew 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept
- from my youth up: what lack I yet?
-
- Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell
- that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in
- heaven: and come [and] follow me.
-
- Matthew 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away
- sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
-
- Matthew 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you,
- That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
-
- Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go
- through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom
- of God.
-
- Matthew 19:25 When his disciples heard [it], they were exceedingly amazed,
- saying, Who then can be saved?
-
- Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this
- is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
-
- Matthew 19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have
- forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
-
- Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye
- which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit
- in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging
- the twelve tribes of Israel.
-
- Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or
- sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my
- name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting
- life.
-
- Matthew 19:30 But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last [shall
- be] first.
-
- Matthew 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man [that is] an
- householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into
- his vineyard.
-
- Matthew 20:2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day,
- he sent them into his vineyard.
-
- Matthew 20:3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing
- idle in the marketplace,
-
- Matthew 20:4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and
- whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
-
- Matthew 20:5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did
- likewise.
-
- Matthew 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others
- standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
-
- Matthew 20:7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith
- unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, [that]
- shall ye receive.
-
- Matthew 20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto
- his steward, Call the labourers, and give them [their] hire, beginning
- from the last unto the first.
-
- Matthew 20:9 And when they came that [were hired] about the eleventh hour,
- they received every man a penny.
-
- Matthew 20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have
- received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.
-
- Matthew 20:11 And when they had received [it], they murmured against the
- goodman of the house,
-
- Matthew 20:12 Saying, These last have wrought [but] one hour, and thou
- hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the
- day.
-
- Matthew 20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no
- wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
-
- Matthew 20:14 Take [that] thine [is], and go thy way: I will give unto
- this last, even as unto thee.
-
- Matthew 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is
- thine eye evil, because I am good?
-
- Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be
- called, but few chosen.
-
- Matthew 20:17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples
- apart in the way, and said unto them,
-
- Matthew 20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be
- betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall
- condemn him to death,
-
- Matthew 20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to
- scourge, and to crucify [him]: and the third day he shall rise again.
-
- Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her
- sons, worshipping [him], and desiring a certain thing of him.
-
- Matthew 20:21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him,
- Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the
- other on the left, in thy kingdom.
-
- Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye
- able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with
- the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
-
- Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and
- be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my
- right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to
- them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.
-
- Matthew 20:24 And when the ten heard [it], they were moved with
- indignation against the two brethren.
-
- Matthew 20:25 But Jesus called them [unto him], and said, Ye know that the
- princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are
- great exercise authority upon them.
-
- Matthew 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be
- great among you, let him be your minister;
-
- Matthew 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your
- servant:
-
- Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but
- to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
-
- Matthew 20:29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude
- followed him.
-
- Matthew 20:30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when
- they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O
- Lord, [thou] son of David.
-
- Matthew 20:31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold
- their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord,
- [thou] son of David.
-
- Matthew 20:32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will
- ye that I shall do unto you?
-
- Matthew 20:33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
-
- Matthew 20:34 So Jesus had compassion [on them], and touched their eyes:
- and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

- Q7:
- Exodus 12:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,
- saying,
-
- Exodus 12:2 This month [shall be] unto you the beginning of months: it
- [shall be] the first month of the year to you.
-
- Exodus 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the
- tenth [day] of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb,
- according to the house of [their] fathers, a lamb for an house:
-
- Exodus 12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and
- his neighbour next unto his house take [it] according to the number of the
- souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the
- lamb.
-
- Exodus 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year:
- ye shall take [it] out from the sheep, or from the goats:
-
- Exodus 12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same
- month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it
- in the evening.
-
- Exodus 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike [it] on the two
- side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall
- eat it.
-
- Exodus 12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire,
- and unleavened bread; [and] with bitter [herbs] they shall eat it.
-
- Exodus 12:9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast
- [with] fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
-
- Exodus 12:10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and
- that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
-
- Exodus 12:11 And thus shall ye eat it; [with] your loins girded, your
- shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in
- haste: it [is] the LORD'S passover.
-
- Exodus 12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and
- will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and
- against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I [am] the LORD.
-
- Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses
- where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the
- plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of
- Egypt.
-
- Exodus 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall
- keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it
- a feast by an ordinance for ever.
-
- Exodus 12:15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day
- ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened
- bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off
- from Israel.
-
- Exodus 12:16 And in the first day [there shall be] an holy convocation,
- and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no
- manner of work shall be done in them, save [that] which every man must
- eat, that only may be done of you.
-
- Exodus 12:17 And ye shall observe [the feast of] unleavened bread; for in
- this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt:
- therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance
- for ever.
-
- Exodus 12:18 In the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month at
- even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of
- the month at even.
-
- Exodus 12:19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for
- whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off
- from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the
- land.
-
- Exodus 12:20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall
- ye eat unleavened bread.
-
- Exodus 12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said
- unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and
- kill the passover.
-
- Exodus 12:22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip [it] in the
- blood that [is] in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts
- with the blood that [is] in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the
- door of his house until the morning.
-
- Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and
- when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the
- LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in
- unto your houses to smite [you].
-
- Exodus 12:24 And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and
- to thy sons for ever.
-
- Exodus 12:25 And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which
- the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep
- this service.
-
- Exodus 12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto
- you, What mean ye by this service?
-
- Exodus 12:27 That ye shall say, It [is] the sacrifice of the LORD'S
- passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt,
- when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people
- bowed the head and worshipped.
-
- Exodus 12:28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had
- commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
-
- Exodus 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the
- firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on
- his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that [was] in the dungeon;
- and all the firstborn of cattle.
-
- Exodus 12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants,
- and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for [there was]
- not a house where [there was] not one dead.
-
- Exodus 12:31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise
- up, [and] get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of
- Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.
-
- Exodus 12:32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be
- gone; and bless me also.
-
- Exodus 12:33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they
- might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We [be] all dead
- [men].
-
- Exodus 12:34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their
- kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
-
- Exodus 12:35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of
- Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of
- gold, and raiment:
-
- Exodus 12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the
- Egyptians, so that they lent unto them [such things as they required]. And
- they spoiled the Egyptians.
-
- Exodus 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to
- Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot [that were] men, beside
- children.
-
- Exodus 12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and
- herds, [even] very much cattle.
-
- Exodus 12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they
- brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were
- thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for
- themselves any victual.
-
- Exodus 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in
- Egypt, [was] four hundred and thirty years.
-
- Exodus 12:41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty
- years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the
- LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
-
- Exodus 12:42 It [is] a night to be much observed unto the LORD for
- bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this [is] that night of the LORD
- to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.
-
- Exodus 12:43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This [is] the
- ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
-
- Exodus 12:44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou
- hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.
-
- Exodus 12:45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
-
- Exodus 12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth
- ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone
- thereof.
-
- Exodus 12:47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
-
- Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep
- the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let
- him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the
- land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
-
- Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the
- stranger that sojourneth among you.
-
- Exodus 12:50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded
- Moses and Aaron, so did they.
-
- Exodus 12:51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, [that] the LORD did
- bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

- Q8:
- Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place,
- when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to
- pray, as John also taught his disciples.
-
- Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art
- in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in
- heaven, so in earth.
-
- Luke 11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
-
- Luke 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is
- indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
-
- Luke 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and
- shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three
- loaves;
-
- Luke 11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have
- nothing to set before him?
-
- Luke 11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the
- door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and
- give thee.
-
- Luke 11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he
- is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as
- many as he needeth.
-
- Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye
- shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
-
- Luke 11:10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh
- findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
-
- Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will
- he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a
- serpent?
-
- Luke 11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
-
- Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
- children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
- to them that ask him?
-
- Luke 11:14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came
- to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people
- wondered.
-
- Luke 11:15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub
- the chief of the devils.
-
- Luke 11:16 And others, tempting [him], sought of him a sign from heaven.
-
- Luke 11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom
- divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house [divided]
- against a house falleth.
-
- Luke 11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom
- stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
-
- Luke 11:19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons
- cast [them] out? therefore shall they be your judges.
-
- Luke 11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the
- kingdom of God is come upon you.
-
- Luke 11:21 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in
- peace:
-
- Luke 11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome
- him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth
- his spoils.
-
- Luke 11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not
- with me scattereth.
-
- Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh
- through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will
- return unto my house whence I came out.
-
- Luke 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth [it] swept and garnished.
-
- Luke 11:26 Then goeth he, and taketh [to him] seven other spirits more
- wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last
- [state] of that man is worse than the first.
-
- Luke 11:27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman
- of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed [is] the
- womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
-
- Luke 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed [are] they that hear the word
- of God, and keep it.
-
- Luke 11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to
- say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign
- be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
-
- Luke 11:30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the
- Son of man be to this generation.
-
- Luke 11:31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the
- men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost
- parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater
- than Solomon [is] here.
-
- Luke 11:32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this
- generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of
- Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas [is] here.
-
- Luke 11:33 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth [it] in a secret
- place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come
- in may see the light.
-
- Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is
- single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when [thine eye] is
- evil, thy body also [is] full of darkness.
-
- Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not
- darkness.
-
- Luke 11:36 If thy whole body therefore [be] full of light, having no part
- dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a
- candle doth give thee light.
-
- Luke 11:37 And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with
- him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.
-
- Luke 11:38 And when the Pharisee saw [it], he marvelled that he had not
- first washed before dinner.
-
- Luke 11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the
- outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of
- ravening and wickedness.
-
- Luke 11:40 [Ye] fools, did not he that made that which is without make
- that which is within also?
-
- Luke 11:41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold,
- all things are clean unto you.
-
- Luke 11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all
- manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought
- ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
-
- Luke 11:43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the
- synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
-
- Luke 11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as
- graves which appear not, and the men that walk over [them] are not aware
- [of them].
-
- Luke 11:45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master,
- thus saying thou reproachest us also.
-
- Luke 11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, [ye] lawyers! for ye lade men
- with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens
- with one of your fingers.
-
- Luke 11:47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and
- your fathers killed them.
-
- Luke 11:48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers:
- for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
-
- Luke 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them
- prophets and apostles, and [some] of them they shall slay and persecute:
-
- Luke 11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the
- foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
-
- Luke 11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which
- perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall
